He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Carole Kirtland; his son-in-law Patrick Hebert; his parents, Warren Kirtland and Myrtle Kirtland; and his siblings, Odell Kirtland and Emma Kirtland.
He is survived by: his children, DeAnn Hebert, Robin Hartnaft and Brenda Ackerman (John); his stepchildren, Denise Adams (Chuck) and Jeff Lockart (Teresa); his grandchildren, Samm Ameen, Tabitha Ameen, Glynn Kirtland (Diana), Tina Hebert, Dallas Kirtland (Nicole), Patrick Hebert Jr., Ethan Ackerman and Dustin Lasyone (Rachelle); his great grandchildren, Aiden Kirtland, Hunter Kirtland, Leah Kirtland, Levi Kirtland, Greysen Kirtland, Ella Kirtland and Dustin Lasyone; and his siblings, Lloyd Kirtland, Joseph Kirtland and Evelyn Peters.
