As Curtis Murrell departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Curtis Murrell may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Curtis Murrell leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Carpenter and Audie Lee Carpenter; and his wife Norma Carpenter. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Carpenter, Stephen Carpenter (Samantha) and Robert Carpenter (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Serenity, Evelyn, Elijah and Rosalyn; and his friends, Rick and Jan.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Pollock (7956 Ridge St, Pollock, LA 71467). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
