He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Lee and Eunice F. Coutee Bridges. He is survived by: his children, Carl "Lee" Bridges, Jr., David Bridges (Janet), Angela Rebecca Staples, Aaron Bridges (A. J.), Analeah Turlington (Brandon), Jonathan Bridges (Ashley), Michael Bridges (Hanna) and Elizabeth Halphen (Taylor); and the mother of his children Virginia Barden Bridges. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
