Alexander and Mary Nell Alexander; his former wife Catherine Joe Delhomme Alexander; his stepmother Mabel Alexander; his siblings, Clarence David Alexander and Deloris Alexander Williams; and his stepsiblings, Ronald Pinell, Barbra Pinell Alexander and Lois Ann Firmin.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Elaine Francois Alexander; his children, James Arlen Alexander (Judy), Galen "Mike" Alexander (Melissa) and Elizabeth "Liz" Alexander; his brother Jackie Lee Alexander (Jessie); his stepbrothers, Harry John Pinell II (LeQuita) and Charles William Pinell (Elizabeth); and his stepsons, Jonathan David Francois (Jeni) and Carl Bertman Francois (Terra). He is also survived by eleven step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
