He is survived by: his wife Peggy Scarborough Irby; his children, Curtis Ivan Irby (Trena), Karl "Randy" Irby (Debbie), James "Eric" Irby (Tina Willett) and Lisa Irby Garza (Abel, Jr.); and his sisters, Lottie I. Stinson, Alice I. Dezendorf and Peggy I. Koury (Richard). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
