She was predeceased by: her husband Freddie Terrell; her parents, Douglas Johnson and Thyra Johnson; her son Jeffery Troy Gaddis; her brother Lionel Buck Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Johnnie Drew Terrell and Betty Gregory Terrell.

She is survived by: her son Shawn Terrell; her grandchildren, Jacob Gaddis, Scarlett Terrell, Douglas Gaddis and Autumn Gaddis; and her sister Susan Johnson.
