He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Stevens and Carrie Stevens; his former wife Nelda Stevens; and his son-in-law Mark Austin. He is survived by: his grandsons, Ty Cobbs and Sammy Cobbs; his wife Bertha Stevens; his daughter Lisa Austin; his siblings, Flora Farrah, Loretta Estes, Vonnie Barnes (Kenneth) and D. E. Stevens (Glenda); and his stepchildren, Bobbye Phillips, Danny Ray Cobbs and Tommy Lynn Cobbs.
