He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Joseph, Sr. and Teresa Lacour Rabalais; and his siblings, Ella Mae Rabalais Roy (George), Stanley Gene Rabalais, Sr. (Patricia), Jerry Rabalais and Victor Joseph Rabalais, Jr. (Gloria).

He is survived by: his wife Louise Lemoine Rabalais; his children, Debra R. Duhe (Kenny), Craig Anthony Rabalais, Ericka R. Gaillard (Mark), Robert Stewart Rabalais (Kim), Timothy Andrew Rabalais and Brad Jude Rabalais (Sarah); and his brother Willis James Rabalais (Patricia). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
