We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lenita Gayle Henley Reeves of Plaucheville, Louisiana, born in Tylertown, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henley and Patty Henley; her brothers, Lynn Henley (Jannette) and Billy Henley (Debbie); and her grandparents, Charles, Amelia Henley, Walter and Annie Hines.
She is survived by: her husband Darrel Reeves; her children, Tausha Mayeaux (Chris) of Strawberry Plains, TN and Joshua Reeves (Karis) of Hessmer, LA; her grandchildren, Aaron Hodges, Alister Mayeaux of Baton Rouge, Christian Mayeaux and Amelya Mayeaux of Strawberry Plains, TN; her siblings, Brenda Henley and John Henley (Donna) of Picayune; her uncles, Doyle Hines of Bogalusa and Bill Ingram of Folsom; and her brother-in-law Jeffrey Reeves of Plaucheville, LA. She is also survived by fur baby "Little Bit" and numerous nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (135 Rio Grande St, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Hines Cemetery.
