She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Ortego and Walter Ortego; her husband Hartwell; and her siblings, Helen, Nadie and Leeward.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Prevot (James) of Baton Rouge, Virginia Rabalais of Plaucheville, Mark Rabalais (Gwen) of Baton Rouge, Ken Rabalais (Julie) of Lafayette and David Rabalais (Debbie) of Plaucheville; and her brother Richard Ortego. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
