He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdie Knott and Marie Guidry Knott; and his siblings, Emery Knott, Gerald Knott, Michael Knott and Brenda Knoll.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Bordelon Knott of Plaucheville; his sons, David Joseph Knott (Darlene) of Plaucheville and Mark Anthony Knott (Julie) of Plaucheville; his siblings, Joe Knott (Lisa) of Plaucheville, Leroy Knott (Mary) of Cottonport, Nellie Dauzat (Luther) of Hessmer and Shirley St. Romain (Nobel) of Plaucheville; and his grandchildren, Natalie Knott, Brody Knott, Katelyn Pupera, Ashley Berryman, Devin Sayes, Cassandra Stoute, Chancey Kimble, Hannah Oubre and Brice Oubre. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
