He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Gonzales and Minnie Gonzales; his siblings, Burton, Bowden, Elmer, Mae, Edwin and Minnie (Sis); and his daughter Karen Kay.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Gonzales; his sons, Jeffrey (Brigid) and Kirk (David); his grandchildren, Josh (Maria), Connor and Caroline (Trae); and his great grandchild Andi Claire Gonzales.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition, whose mission is to prepares high-achieving, under-resourced high school students to enter, excel in, and graduate from college so they can become full participants in society.
