It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Cavalier of Plattenville, Louisiana, born in Napoleonville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Cavalier (Te); her parents, Felix Landry and Lillian Landry; her grandchild J'Lyn; her siblings, Shirley, Enola, Felix and Anthony; and her siblings-in-law, Robert, Alex, Harriet, Marguerite and Shirley.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Cavalier (Lena), Daniel Cavalier (Terrie), Debra Hannegan (Bo), Becky Landry and Carolyn Alexander; her grandchildren, Renee (Luke), Chet, Blair (Billy), Hunter, Danielle and Connor; her great grandchildren, Neil, Andon, Gabriel and Caroline; her sisters, Jeanne Bergeron (Jimmy), Suzanne Boudreaux (Jerry), Alice Boudreaux, Lilly Templet (Allen) and Bobbie Gail Thibodaux (Clyde); her siblings-in-law, C. J. Cavalier, Lucien Caballero (Barbara) and Beatrice Landry; her friend Mary Acosta; and also Mary Jane Mabile.
