He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Politz; and his siblings, Kate Carr, Rosalie Ballard, Joe, Pete and Sam Politz.

He is survived by: his sons, Jerome (Becky Politz) and Paul (Laura Politz); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Arceneaux, Jerome "Jay" Politz, Jessica Politz Martin, Ashton, Anna and Wade Politz; and his sister Sally Duke.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Elizabeth School in Paincourtville, Louisiana.
