He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Chase Correll; his parents, Cyprien Gary and Thelma Mitchell; and his sister Jeanette Woolam.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Fontenot Gary; his daughters, Karen Correll (Jeff) and Paula Hudnall (John); his grandchildren, Makayla Correll, John Braxton and Kaylyn Hudnall; his siblings, Michael Gary and Bertha Peete (Norman); and his brother-in-law Thomas Woolam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
