It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia B Simon (Plaquemine, Louisiana), born in Mansura, Louisiana, who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bernard and Eugenia Lemoine Bernard. She is survived by: her husband Charles J. Simon, Jr.; her children, Denise Simon, Terry Simon (Tonya) and Blaine Simon (Leah); her grandchildren, Christopher Simon (Nina), Catherine Stout (Robert), Cameron Cage, Eon Simon (Erin), Terryn Simon, Nick Simon (Reema), Trent Simon (Madison) and Charlie Simon; her great grandchildren, Colton, Ella, Hayes, Eli, Parker, Wesley, Reed and Emily; and her sister Joanne Bernard (Leonard Bernard).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
