She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" J. Pitre; her daughter Kathryn Pitre Long; her parents, Ramon Mesa and Soila Yutze Mesa; and her siblings, Ramon Mesa, Jr., Jimmy Mesa, John Mesa and Cecilia Mesa Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Pitre Rivet (Gary), Lori Pitre Fresina (Mike) and John Pitre (Karen Alphonso). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
