It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Ann Hudson Lewis of Plaquemine, Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Joshua Matthew Penalber; and her parents, Warren Hudson and Rose Murphy Hudson. She is survived by: her husband J. C. Lewis, Jr.; her children, Trent Penalber, Candi Traigle (Jay), Jennifer LeBlanc (Ron) and Jaci Lewis; her grandchildren, Christopher, Pague, Monica, Elizabeth, Trystan, Samantha, Jessica, Jamison, Logan, Leaha of Remy, Kealy, Keegan and Kaleb; her great grandchildren, Selena, Theresa, Jonah, Jake, Jessie, Jr. and Ruby; her siblings, Linda Melancon (Tommy), Brenda Morris (Paul), Dana Hudson and Crystal Mosbroker (Jonas); and her sisters-in-law, Cindy Lewis Vidrine (Jaime), Tammy Leake (Jack) and Stephanie Hardy (Mickey). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
