It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Marie Michel Berthelot (Plaquemine, Louisiana), who passed away on July 16, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband McCurly Joseph Berthelot, Sr.; her parents, Lotus Michel and Hazel Settoon Michel; her sister Evella Dupre; her grandsons, Cody Bolotte and Jeremy Berthelot; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Landry and Jude Blanchard.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn "Picky" Braud (Melvin), Mona Carbo (Curtis), Gale Perault (R. J.), Gywen Orlando (Frank), Loinel Berthelot (Cheri) and McCurly Berthelot, Jr. (Sandra); her siblings, Annie Perera, Adam Michel, Melva Leonard and Melvin Michel; and her grandsons, Bengy (Reggie Bolotte), Joshua Carbo, Trey Perault, Chris (Trey Orlando) and Brandon Berthelot (Cole Easley). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
