It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Vincent Wilson Sr. of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hilda Monson Wilson; and his granddaughter Lindsey Renae Bourgeois. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Smith Wilson; his children, Kendra W. Vallet (Tim), Stacy W. Bourgeois (Jay), Bobbie Lee W. Doiron (Mark) and Rob Wilson (Mikey); his grandchildren, Seth Vallet (Lindsey), Trevor Vallet (Brittany), Heather Simmons (Jonathan), Trent Bourgeois, Kayla Bourgeois, Brandon Doiron, Ryan Doiron (Tiffany), Amber Callahan (Casey) and Austin Doiron; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Briley, Hank, Atlas, Monroe Claire, Hollyn, Knox, Grace, Claire, Hudson, Maddux, Noah, Ellie, Mollie and Blake; his siblings, Vincent Wilson, Sandra Wilson Gumm and Carole Ann Wilson; and his caregivers, Freida Jones, Rhonda Johnson and Dr. Brandon Weeks. He is also survived by his family and all of his dear friends.
