He was predeceased by: his son Jason Curtis Zito; his parents, Roy, Sr. and Viola Terrill Zito; and his brother Eugene Wayne Zito. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Brown Zito; his children, Kerri Brown Reynolds (Robert) and Michael Harrison; his grandchildren, Hunter Sanchez, Gavin Reynolds and Jaislyn Zito; his sibling Roy Zito, Jr.; his wife Linda; and also, Thomas Zito (Sharon) and Tammy Zito Provencher (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to offset expenses.
