He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Paxton Breaux; his parents, Murphy Sr. Breaux and Edna Roth Breaux; his sister Pauline Champagne (Charles Ray); and his brother-in-law Charles Clement.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marion Clement of Plaquemine and Betty Fremin (Roland) of White Castle; his nephew Gene Clement; and also, Doris Myles and Verla Spriggs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
