She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Lewis and Arminthe Mouille Lewis; her son Elroy "Ronald" Garvin Sr.; her siblings, Myrtle Lively, Ida Faulkner, Fannie Aicklen, Merrick "Buck" Lewis Sr., Monroe "Stack" Lewis and Joseph "JC" Lewis Sr.; her former husband Elroy E. Garvin; and her son-in-law Joseph Williams, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Faye Williams, Leroy "Donald" Garvin (Patricia), William "Bill" C. Garvin, Mary Elizabeth Garvin and Michael E. Garvin; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Garvin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilbert Funeral Home (24120 Railroad Ave, Plaquemine, LA 70764). A prayer was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
Donations to the funeral home to defray funeral costs would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
