Mary G. Wade Edwards Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2019, at the age of 83, Mary G. Wade Edwards (Plaquemine, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband E. P. Edwards (Ed); her stepson Michael Edwards; her parents, Claude Grider and Lucille Grider; her brother Claude Grider Jr.; and her grandson Jake Edwards.
She is survived by: her brother William H. Grider; her sister-in-law Reba Grider; her children, Judith Oldner (Steve) and John H. Wade III; her stepchildren, Victor Edwards, Reita Edwards, Frank Edwards (Jean), Liz McDaniel (Robby), Karen Leblanc (Doug) and Janet Thibeau; and her friend Trina Grady. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for the Prison Ministry, Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center, or St. Joseph's Hospice.
