It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Magdalen Ragusa Gibson of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mose Gibson; her parents, Philip Ragusa and Elizabeth Ricca Ragusa; and her sister Marie LeBlanc. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Mumphrey (Jeffery), Karen DePaula (Stephen), Mary Schaub (Charles), Charles Gibson (Karen) and Robert Gibson (James Edwards); her grandchildren, Christopher Gibson (Nikki), Kirk Gibson (Christina), Jonathan Gibson, Courtney Cox (Jimmy), Daniel DePaula, Ashley Mumphrey, Matthew DePaula, Christina Schaub (Samuel Sciortino), Keith DePaula, Charles Schaub (Tori) and Michael Schaub; her great grandchildren, Cohen, Kylie, Kennedy, Nadia, Isabelle Gibson, Charles and Joseph Cox; and her sister Vickey Melancon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
