Madeleine Crossland left this world on October 26, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilfred Crossland and Marguerite Hilda Francis; her husband Herman; her sisters, Dorothy Bajorek and Anne Nelimmarka; and her son-in-law Dr Raymond McClure.
She is survived by: her children, Charles (Michael Jesmer) of Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Angela Samson McClure of St. Gabriel, Lisa Samson of Dallas, TX and Robert (Melissa Acosta) of Port Allen; her grandchildren, Abigail (Brandon Young) of Erwinville, Cecile McClure, Jacob Yoakum of Clinton, MS and Brady Samson of Brusly; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Young and Wyatt Yoakum. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (57805 Main St, Plaquemine, LA 70764). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
