She was predeceased by: her husband Baco Romero; her parents, Dewey Besson and Louise Sicard Besson; her siblings, Mag Davis, Lilith Delapasse and Dewey Besson, Jr.; and her son-in-law Lonnie Michel.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Michel and Brian Romero (Jan); her grandchildren, Travis Michel (Kendul), Trent Michel (Terri), Brian Romero, Jr., Brennan Romero (Rebecca) and Baco Romero; and her brother Jerry Besson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (57805 Main St, Plaquemine, LA 70764). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial Park (60455 Bayou Jacob Rd, Plaquemine, LA 70764).
