He was predeceased by: his wife Sadie Jones Templet; his son Lionel C. "Lonnie" Templet, Jr.; and his siblings, Mable Ayo, Myrna Kirkland, Myrtis Babin Guercio, Doyle, Joe and Germain Templet.
He is survived by: his daughter Georgia Renee Hebert; and his nephew Sidney "Chuckie" Babin, III (Berta). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
