He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Michel Simoneaux; his son Jerome "Rummy" Simoneaux; his parents, Alger Simoneaux and Amelia Carline Simoneaux; and his siblings, Ruby Simoneaux, Paul Simoneaux, Donald Simoneaux and Norway Simoneaux.
He is survived by: his child Leonard Simoneaux; his wife LaDonna; his brother Claiborne Simoneaux; and also, Terry Simoneaux, Al Simoneaux, Jeannie, James Simoneaux, Bonnie, Marla Alleman, Rickie, Cindy Shirley (Phil), Troy Simoneaux, Dickie Simoneaux and Chintel Simoneaux. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
