He was predeceased by: his parents, Olampe Gulliot Jones and Merrick "Buck" Lewis; and his brothers, Grover Merrick Lewis, Jr., Robert Darrell Lewis and Murray Wayne Lewis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Perry Lewis (Linda), Gloria Foret (Kenneth), Mary Verret and Carol Lewis (Earl Devillier). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
