With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Rivet Dupre of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Garrett W. Dupre; her son-in-law Michael Hernandez; her parent Hanson Sr. Neta Bergeron Rivet; and her siblings, Doris Rivet, Hewitt, Hanson Jr., Clyde, Paul and Davis "Pip" Rivet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Innie Hernandez of Plaquemine and Sue Curry (Dennis) of Plaquemine; her grandchildren, Brandon Hernandez, Lindsay Hernandez, Lacey Hernandez, Chelsea Curry Jordan (Josh) and Casey Curry; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Garrett Merritt, Brayden, Grace Hernandez and Vivian Jordan; her brother Jerome Rivet (Marilyn); and her sister-in-law Rose Marie Rivet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Vincent de Paul Medicine Branch.
