It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce McLin Gourgues (Plaquemine, Louisiana), born in Denham Springs, Louisiana, who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Paula Gourgues and Chad Toups; her great grandchild Cheyenne Gannfors; and her parents, Clyde McLin and Rachel Hughes McLin.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Gourgues, Sr; her children, Christy Dolan (John) and Lester "Brother" Gourgues, Jr; and her grandchildren, Cara Friloux, Megan Sauce, Chelsea Daigle, Leesa Gannfors, Brittany Gonzales, Chase Toups and Cassie Toups. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and numerous sisters and brothers.
