He is survived by: his daughter Tammie Tibbitts; his grandchildren, Chelsea Ellerbee, Sydni, Haylee, Grant and Gabriel Tibbitts; and his siblings, Bossier Matirne Jr., Kendrick Matirne (Nancy Rae), Mattie Persick (Ory), Linda Matirne and Kathleen Stuart (David).
