It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Thompson Callegan of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on July 21, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Dewey; and her parents, Weldon Thompson and Juanita Hebert Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Kerry Callegan (Kim) and Chad Callegan; her close friend Tammy Toups; her grandchildren, Clint Callegan (Dana), Chase Callegan (Ashley), Courtney Callegan, Tyler Rock (Jeanne), Brennan Rock (Kacie), Kristen Payne (Devin), Lacelyn Callegan (Phillip LaBauve), Brandon Toups (Bethany), Megan Toups, Michael Salvato (Crystal) and Gabriel Salvato (Keri Yarbrough); her sister-in-law Rosalee Thompson; her siblings, Douglas Thompson (Coral), Gayle Richard and Dickie Lee Boudreaux (Eddie); and her siblings-in-law, Bessie C. Banta, Mary C. Berthelot (Alcide), Barbara S. Callegan, Davis Callegan (Kathy) and James Maurin. She is also survived by her children and extended family.
