It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Lee Hebert Bourgeois of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew A. Bourgeois, Sr.; her grandson Andrew A. Bourgeois, III; her parents, Harry J. Hebert, Sr. and Katie Druilhet Hebert; and her siblings, Harry Hebert, Jr., Alvin Hebert, Sr., Shirley Dugas and Katie Mae Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew A. Bourgeois, Jr. (Carmen), David J. Bourgeois (Elsie) and Lisa A. Bourgeois; her brother Hurley Hebert (Betty); her grandchildren, Julian Bourgeois (Allison), Jonathon Bourgeois, Deborah Babin (Russ), Kellie Nickens (Jeff), James Tate (Crystal), Laurie Maranto (Joey), Kirstin Hebert (David) and Landry King (Brittany); and her sisters-in-law, Sue Hebert, Carolyn Vicknair (V. J.) and Betty LaBauve. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
Due to COVID a private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorial Mass donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine.
