He was predeceased by: his son Shelby Joe Henson Jr.; and his parents, Charles Henson and Mary "Verta" Alverta Keller Henson. He is survived by: his wife Patty Poston Henson; his children, Hurley Henson Jr. and Christen Henson Graffeo (Tony "Graff"); his grandchildren, Cody, Lola, Nathan Henson, Adelyn Graffeo, Heaven Leigh Barker, Shelby Henson Jr. and Sophia Nations; his siblings, Charles "Irvin" Henson (Molly), Kerri "Dean" Henson Sr. (Melissa), Marshall Lee Henson (Amy), Brady Henson Sr. (Angie), Verta "Lou" Breaux, Charity Walker, Elsie Bourgeois (David) and Shelia Migliacio (Nicky); and his sister-in-law Vickie Henson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
