He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenest "Black" Cavalier and Zelma "Dee" Gilchrist Cavalier Pittman; his siblings, John "JD" Cavalier, Eloise Noble, Lenest "Duke" Cavalier and Michael Cavalier; and his granddaughter Ashley Elizabeth Cavalier.
He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth "Liz" Hebert; his children, Paul Houston and Yourba Duqueestrada; his stepchildren, Rachael Acosta (Damian), Floyd Gomez (Tonya) and Melody Hebert; and his siblings, Evelena Cavalier, Sherron Simmons (Gary) and Andy Cavalier (Janet). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
