He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth "Bob" and Jessie Nolen; his siblings, Rosie Williams, Ruthie Light, Samuel "Golly" Nolen, Sr., Jessie "Frankie" Nolen, Sr. and Charlie Nolen; and his nieces and nephews, Charlene, Charlotte Nolen, Joyce Williams, Harvey Nolen, Robert "Robbie" Nolen and Tommy Williams.
He is survived by: his great-nephews, Matthew Light, Henry Webre, John "Mick" David, Jeffrey David, Chris "CJ", Nolen Jr. and Kayde Melancon; and also, Brogan Light, Bryson Melancon, Ollie, Danny Pavolini, Mary, Al Lancaster, Dorothy Bowman, Shirley, Richie Valdez, Sherry, Scott Jeansonne, Barbara, Percy Cormier, Gwen, John David, Rose, Lionel Gomez, Vanessa, Robert Foster, Sammy, Jr., Violia Nolen, Jimmy, Susan Nolen, Johnny Nolen, Donald, Louise Light, Johnny Light, Harold Light, Jerry Light, Lester, Ruby Light, Roger, Dana Light, Jesse Jr., Theresa Nolen, Chris Sr., Staci Nolen, Rusty, Melissa Nolen and Mitch Williams. He is also survived by three great-nieces and nephews; ninety-two great great nieces and nephews; one great great great niece.
