He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth C. Pitre; his children, Tami Pitre and Randy Pitre; his parents, Cyril, Sr. Pitre and Mabel Leonard Pitre; and his siblings, Camille Baron, Daisy LeJeune, Cecile Pitre, Muriel Rhed, Jennie, Judy Pitre, Dibert, Preston "Pat", Cyril "Buck", Freddie, Bill, Arthur and Curtis Pitre.
He is survived by: his son Michael Pitre (Irma); his granddaughters, Jennifer Dalbor (Boyd) and Ashley Pitre; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Pitre, Grace "Butsy" Pitre and Bessie Pitre. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
