With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerrit Wade Ourso (Plaquemine, Louisiana), born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on January 29, 2020 at the age of 40. He was predeceased by: his father Gary Ourso, Sr.; and his grandparents, Paul, Mrytle Richard, Charles and Nellie Ourso.

He is survived by: his son Jadon Ourso; his mother Paulette Richard Ourso; his siblings, Garilyn Ourso Sowers (Ron Sowers) and Gary Ourso, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Lauren Howze, Charley Ourso and Siegen Carlson; and also Margaret Englerth. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
