He is survived by: his wife Nettie Daigle Michel of Plaquemine; his daughters, Kimberly "Kim" Michel Langlois (Ken) of Plaquemine and Tara Michel Waguespack (Paul) of Gonzales; his grandchildren, Kenli Langlois Lacassagne (Herbert III), Koby M. Langlois (Claire), Alexus Waguespack Thompson (Justin) and Amber Waguespack; his great grandchildren, Hart and Hudson Lacassagne; and his siblings, Lonnie Michel (Cindy) of Plaquemine and Patricia "Patsy" Thomas of Berwick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
