He is survived by: his wife Teddie Burns Perere; his daughter Phyllis Perere; his daughter-in-law Joan Robertson Perere; his grandchildren, Jeremy Perere, Wendy Mangum (Whit) and Chris Perere (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Lily, William Mangum, Thomas, Joseph and Henry Perere; and his close friends, JoAnn and Gary Tullier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
