He is survived by: his wife Sarah May Franklin Gonzales; his children, Douglas MacArthur Gonzales, Jr and Suzi Gonzales Fort; his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth "Beth" Gonzales (Danielle), Hayley Quatrevingt Ford (Calvin), Alexander "Alex" Fort, Jaliscia Jackson and Jacob Fort; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Bayli Quatrevingt and Ezra Fort; his siblings, Ruthie Landry (Robbie), Katie Landry (George), Gayle Ostergreen (Skip), Peter "Pops" Gonzales, Jr. (Mary Kay) and Donald "Donnie" Gonzales (Judy); and his aunt Vivian Gonzales Tullier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
