He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Bumpurs and Estelle Bumpurs; and his siblings, Martha Ann Dupree, Carlos Bumpurs and J. D. Bumpurs.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Kreamer Bumpurs; his daughters, Lisa Kember and Jessica Watson; his grandchildren, Chantel Dunn (Randall), Addison Kember, John Robert Kember, Kennedy Watson, Katherine Watson and Caroline Watson; his great grandchildren, Aria Kember, Johnathen Kember and Gemma Dunn; and his sister-in-law Cindy Bumpurs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
