He is survived by: his wife Barbara Melancon Durand; his children, Douglas Gerard Durand Jr. (April J. Durand), Barbara "Dawn" Durand Gray (William), Gray II, Daniel Gregory Durand (Janee' Haydel Durand) and Catherine Deanne Durand; and his grandchildren, Devin Catherine Durand, Dannie Clare Durand, Maddox Paul Ourso and Marley Michael Ourso.
