She was predeceased by: her sons, Mark Barbier and Layne Barbier; her parents, Steve Stein and Goeta Alleman Gros; her siblings, Alana Tanner, Medric, Merlice, Lionel and Warren Stein; and her grandchild Brennan Bujol.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dickie" J. Barbier of Bayou Pigeon; her children, Dawn Barbier Cortez (Lemcy) and Brent Barbier (Cherie Bujol); her sister Joycelyn LeNoir (Gordon); and her grandchildren, Shawn Barbier (Ashley), Shai Barbier, Vance Russo (Claresa Adams), Ross Barbier, Ashley Barbier and Brady Ferachi. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
