He was predeceased by: his son Michael Laurent; his parents, Jack Laurent and Cecile Songy Laurent; his siblings, Margie, Dewey Besson, George and Janice "Tiny" Landry; and his nephew Cody Navarre.
He is survived by: his wife Celeste "Pucky" Miller Laurent; his children, Kenny Laurent (Janiece) and Beryl Raffray (Brian); and his grandchild Courtney Maxwell (Cody). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
