It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles R. Foster Sr. of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Poche Foster; his wife Vernita "Nita" Comeaux Sanchez Foster; his son David Randall Foster; his great grandchild Logan James McGee; his parents, Louis Foster and Gladys Foster; and his brother Edwin Earl Foster.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Foster, Jr. (Migonne), Penny Albert (Steven), Paula Orillion (Kirk), Kenneth Foster (Darlene) and Maggie Byrne (William); his pet Chichi; his sister Nelda Bunch; his stepchildren, Rodie, Danny Sanchez and Priscilla Gee; and his close friend Mary "Toot" Bezet. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
