He is survived by: his wife Judy Strahorn Marix of Plaquemine; his daughter Darlene M. Hillman (Michael) of Lafayette; his stepchildren, Renee Clark of Plaquemine, Hal Roy (Barbara) of Prairieville, Steve Roy (Stephanie) of Queen Creek, AZ and Jason Dupree (DeeDee) of Central; his daughters-in-law, Linda Marix Pantepinto of Plaquemine and Kay Z. Marix of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Michael Marix (Angele), Mandy M. Taylor, Cort Marix (Bethany), Grant Hillman (Ashley), Stephan Hillman (Jennifer), Matt Hillman, Lainey Martin, Carlysle Jake Marix and Kally Sere (Jared); his stepgrandchildren, Travis Clark, Christopher Roy, Matthew Roy, Bradley Roy, Heather Roy and Taylor Creighton; and his grandsons, Travis Clark, Christopher, Matthew, Bradley Roy and Taylor Creighton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Disabled Veterans Association.
