With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alger John Rodriguez (Plaquemine, Louisiana), who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alger P. Rodriguez and Helen Martinez Rodriguez; his wife Nera Vicknair Rodriguez; his grandson Scott Jude Marino; and his siblings, Hazel Marshburn, Annie Boudreaux, Emma Falcon, Adaline Wunstel, Helen LeBlanc, Theresa Champagne, Margie Monet, Lily, Davis, Roy, Henry, Louis, Hubert and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Denny R. (Michael Marino), Tommy (Linda LeBlanc Rodriguez) and Julie R. (Henry Berthelot); his grandchildren, Jason (Ashely Morales Marino), Randy (Jeri Soldani Rodriguez) and Jaylyn Berthelot; his great grandchildren, Samantha M. (Zane Hebert), Hayden (Summer G. Marino), Lane Marino, Michael, Nathan, Evan Rodriguez and James Grae Hoppe; his great great grandchildren, Andie Kate, Sawyer James, Finn Michael Hebert, Aubree Lynn and Jude Michael Marino; and his godchildren, Sidney Boudreaux, Dennis Hebert and Donna Navarre. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
